Privacy Policy for SpatialTags Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how SpatialTags (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) processes and protects your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to absolute user privacy, ensuring a safe, transparent, and completely decentralized user experience.

Zero Remote Data Collection (100% On-Device) The fundamental philosophy of SpatialTags is absolute privacy by design: No Remote Servers or Cloud Storage: We do not collect, upload, transmit, or synchronize your data to remote servers or third-party cloud services. Everything is kept local. No Accounts or Registration: You are not required to create an account, register, or provide any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the App. On-Device Sandbox: All information you create or capture remains isolated inside the App’s secure sandbox on your physical device. 2. Information Processed on Your Device To deliver augmented reality (AR) tagging, spatial navigation, and 3D mapping features, the App accesses certain device capabilities and processes the following data local to your device:

A. Camera and Spatial Mapping Data (ARKit & LiDAR) The App requests access to your device’s camera and, if available, its LiDAR sensor. This data is processed in real time by Apple’s ARKit framework solely to map the dimensions of your room (creating a 3D environment mesh), track device position, and orient the 3D compass navigation. Raw camera video feeds and sensor measurements are processed temporarily in volatile memory (RAM) and are never recorded, saved, or shared.

B. User-Generated Data Information you create—such as room names, custom colors, room dimensions, virtual tags (names, description notes, icons, and 3D space coordinates), and photos you optionally attach to tags—is saved locally on your device in a secure database managed by Apple’s SwiftData framework. You maintain absolute control over this data: you can edit, delete, or reset it at any time directly within the App.

Data Security and Storage Because your data is stored locally, its security depends on the security of your device. Your data is protected by iOS’s built-in app sandboxing, which prevents other apps from accessing SpatialTags’ database. We strongly recommend securing your device with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, which automatically enables hardware-level encryption (Data Protection) for local storage on iOS.

Third-Party Analytics, Trackers, and Ads We believe in an ad-free and tracker-free experience:

No SDK Trackers: The App does not include third-party tracking software (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or Facebook SDK). No Advertising: The App does not display ads and does not integrate with any ad networks or profiling systems. Anonymous Apple Analytics: Apple may collect anonymous crash logs and basic usage telemetry if you have explicitly opted into sharing these diagnostics with developers in your iOS settings. 5. International Regulatory Compliance (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA) SpatialTags is built to comply with major global privacy laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Brazil’s LGPD, and Canada’s PIPEDA.

Since we do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal data on remote servers, your legal rights—including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data—are exercised entirely by you. You can instantly erase all data associated with the App by deleting individual entries inside the App or by uninstalling the App from your device.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K) The App is safe for users of all ages. We do not collect or request any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, making the App fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.
